Tokyo Metro (Eidan) 9000 Series / 営団9000系
The 9000 Series (9000系) is an EMU operated by Tokyo Metro on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line.
Initially produced as 4 car sets ahead of the Namboku Line’s opening in 1991, the 9000 series was designed with the concept of "harmony and kindness". Starting from 2022, extensive refurbishment and further lengthening to 8 cars begun taking place, with the series planned to be in service for another ~20 years.
