Toei 6500 series
The Toei 6500 series (都営6500形) is an EMU train type operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation on the Toei Mita Line. With the opening of the Shin-Yokohama Line in March 2023, an increase in the number of users of the Mita Line was expected, and it was decided to buy new eight-car trains to alleviate congestion. This train received the 2022 Good Design Award.
