Cowboys In Dreg (Reloaded)
Cowboys In Dreg is back, now with more content and patches to bring it into the modern age! Everything you’ve come to love and more to remaster the cowboy experience and bring hours more of content.
Newly included (and integrated) mods: A Standalone Potato Mod, Cat-Lon’s Western Buildings, Ram Ranch, and Doctor Kicked Ass.
If you are using any of these mods, please remove them from your load order — they are already included here.
Minor Changes: Chewing tobacco, moonshine, brass knuckles, bowie knives, espada machetes, cattle prods, and hatchets added. Brokeback Mountain updated. Wearable jewelry. Full-face bandanas. Post offices added to Homestead towns, where you can buy helpful guides, receive mail, clear your bounty, or wipe your slave status (for a price).
Mild Changes: Overhauled HU towns. Tobacco plantation (The Wraithbaits) added to sell cheap gold and tobacco on the backs of slavery. Golden weapons/armor! Noble Arms Company (merchant faction) added to sell these goods. Shrieking Bandits have their own bandit leader and worldstate. "Hive Raiders" faction added. Berserker Country has a Berserker stronghold.
Major Changes: Sulfur nodes, tree farming and charcoal production (for fuel or gunpowder), and gun/ammo crafting! Different gun types and variants, as well as golden gun crafting. Homestead Union and Yeehaw Outlaws now use guns, balanced around their used caliber.
POST RELEASE CHANGES: Ballistic Armor and crafting added- blueprints in Leviathan Coast, complete with HU overrides for the town. Gatling Gun blueprints added to the same Leviathan Coast town. Arthur Morbius recruit added, along with a game start. Steel Cabal tweek, they’ll accept prisoners and pay you for them. Specialty ammo shops for Resolve and Murkwater (Homestead Union takeovers only). Scoped Marlins and western styled furniture. Log variants for Western Buildings. Homestead Union Army replaces deputies when Dump is president, and players can draft them as guards as well. Custom armor for the army. Spencer Carbines and a unique Rifle variant added. Okran’s Fist and Shield can be claimed for the HU now. Eastern United Cities towns now have Homestead Union overrides. Please check the wiki for more information on how to achieve them. Hayes and Marshal Stone added as potential recruits- find them in the swamps in a drug den after initiating a presidential override (requires import post change). Abigail and Doctor Kicked Ass have new unique (modified) firearms. Wraithbait jobs added.
