armmine_civil_war.pack
This mod reduces generals’ loyalty, for both player and AIs, to encourage more civil war and create more challenging gameplay experience.
WHY?
– Because more civil war is more fun and more realistic.

– There is a -8 public order penalty on a faction in ‘low satisfaction’
– Yellow turban rebels tend to wait longer before striking.
– Yellow turban rebels should come out with stronger units. (I’m not sure if it’s actually working.)

– ‘Lack of purpose’ only goes up to -10. (vanilla -20)
– ‘Made heir’ gives +50 satisfaction. (vanilla +20)

What is it like playing with this mod on?
– Lu Bu will a civil war when Dong Zhou dies.
– LOTS LOTS more civil war on both major and minor factions, and of course player’s faction. (watch your wife carefully)
– You will have to use the promote button you never knew existed.
– A clay dog that Liu Bei bought from you will be worth its price.
Know issues
– Since Han Empire is so big it gets -100 satisfaction on the first turn. So it will be practically deserted on the second turn. Xu Hang and Taisi Chi will be free for the taken.
– Some generals will leave on turn 1 due to low satisfaction.
– AI Liu Bei will most likely never gain a unity point.
– The main problem actually is the fact that AIs never promote their generals.
– Sometimes AIs just get too big to hold their generals. They will hire new faces every turn. Which actually isn’t really a problem.
– He Yi and Cong Du might be unplayable as of yet because they don’t have buildings that provide satisfaction bonus.
Compatibility
– Might cause some problems with mods that modify assignments.
– Might cause some problems with mods that modify attribute’s bonus.
– You can also use my other mod to unlock court positions faster. So that AIs can keep their high level generals. Link here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1812600943
There is another version of this where you don’t get -5 satisfaction from towns and cities. (But of course you don’t get satisfaction bonus from schools or temples either)
