Railroad Steam Tugboat & Covered Barge
Throughout the first half the 20th century, most railroads serving port cities, especially New York City, had sizable "navies" themselves. These marine fleets, often numbering dozens of tugboats and hundreds of barges, would serve as the last link between the railroad’s own terminal and ships in the harbor or waterfront customers.
This pack includes both steam tugboats and covered barges in the paint schemes of eleven railroads. (with extra schemes for LIRR and NYC) The tug is available as a stand alone vehicle if you just want to add some action to your harbor, and towing a single barge behind or pushing a pair of barges "on the hip" as was common practice.
