Description:

Popes and Doges is back, and updated for CK3 v1.18.

This mod adds the noble houses (for duke tier or higher republics) and appointment succession mechanics to all republic holdings and theocratic holdings of county level or higher.

Theocratic succession values virtue (virtuous traits, piety level, learning, as well as trait totals) while Republics value skill, prestige and intelligence.

Republics use the new Treasury mechanics so there is a divide between public and private funds.

NOTE/WARNING: Requires Roads to Power to work, uses Roads to Power appointment mechanics.
