Mod Overview
Press a configurable key to instantly perform a melee attack without manually switching weapons. The mod automatically swaps to an available melee weapon or subweapon, performs an attack, and then reverts to your previous weapon.
Because the default V key is also used for kicking, the mod also includes an option to disable the vanilla kick if you prefer using V exclusively for quick melee (I personally hate the kick). Or, you can simply set a different keybind and enable kicking to keep both.
Features
When you press the keybind:
- If your current weapon has a melee subweapon, you’ll automatically switch to it, attack, and switch back.
- If your current weapon has no melee subweapon, you’ll automatically switch to a melee weapon from another slot, attack, and switch back.
- If your current weapon is a melee weapon, you’ll simply perform a regular attack.
