Daikyu Warrior Monk Hero
Recruit-able in a settlement with a Famous Temple and Foot-Archery Range for Buddhist clans and with The Honganji and a Foot-Archery Range for the Ikko Ikki clan.
Combines the characteristics and superior damage of Daikyu bow units with the superior range and accuracy/reload rate of bow warrior monks. The Uesugi and Ikko Ikki get access to cheaper and superior Daikyu Warrior Monk Heroes.
Portuguese Tercos Heroes
Recruit-able in a settlement with a Nanban Quarter and Gunsmith for the Otomo clan. Elite gunpowder infantry superior in stats to all other gunpowder units, but few in numbers.
Fire Bomb Samurai
Recruit-able in a settlement with a Sword Master Dojo and a Powder Maker building. Elite heavy katana infantry capable of throwing a limited number of Fire bombs to either damage fortifications and castle gates or inflict casualties at range before charging at the enemy. Also capable of scaling castle walls quickly.
No-Dachi Ronin
Recruit-able in a settlement with a No-Dachi Dojo for clans following the Ikko-Ikki faith. Ronin counterpart to No-Dachi Samurai.
Matchlock Ronin
Recruit-able in a settlement with a Gunsmith for clans following the Ikko-Ikki faith. Ronin counterpart to Matchlock Samurai.
