Modular Car Armor is a comprehensive system for building and installing armor modules on vehicles in DayZ.
Each vehicle now has the ability to build fortifications, where the player decides which parts of the vehicle will be protected and which will remain exposed.
For all “vanilla” vehicles, various armor modules can be installed, covering all the main areas of the body: doors, windows, bumper, trunk, and wheels. Depending on the vehicle, a specific set of elements is available. The same armor module will look different on each vehicle.
In total, there are the following modules:
– Homemade bumper
– Lower door armor
– Upper door armor
– Wheel armor
– Window armor (front glass / rear glass)
– Window armor (left / right front glass)
– Trunk armor

A blowtorch with an attached gas cylinder is used to repair armor. In one round, the module is repaired by 1 strength (BADLY DAMAGED —> DAMAGED).
To disassemble the armor, you need to take the same wrench and disassemble the module for a longer time than it takes to build it.

Since the armor plates for the HMMWV are not homemade, but manufactured directly by HUMVEE, they cannot be made “on the fly.” The armor is installed using a wrench and a special box containing the necessary type of armor. Unlike homemade versions, door armor for the HMMWV consists of a single module (providing protection from above and below at the same time).
REPACKAGING/DECOMPILING THIS MODIFICATION IS PROHIBITED!
