Swords of Illyria (Finished)
That’s right people! Not only is the mod repaired but it is complete and ready to play (thanks Gerv). This salty unit expansion adds 8 new land units and nine naval counterparts to the three Illyriann factions. If you were wondering why I did this, its because my old buddy Egi told me that Illyrian factions suck and that they need some new units that well… aren’t terrible (especially when it comes to cavalry). I figured that he was probably in both that I have heard the Heir of Carthage make similar… less critical complaints about the Ardiaei in he past and the fact that I never elect to pplay as an Illyrian faction. 😛 So I added these nifty soldiers and sailors to fulfill his request. Now Illyria has some fresh new units, for both multiplayer and campaign to not get wrecked (as bad) as is quite possible. I hope this mod makes the Illyrians alittle more respectable and, of course, playable to.
P.S. I enabled Epirus to recruit Illyrian Levies in the campaign. 😀
*I would love to go ahead and finish this mod but if you look at the time it was last upated, you can tell that I really need some sleep. Also I had two people that were willing to help me test the mod, but one of them has been very busy lately, so putting a "beta" version out early should not only give him more time… it will also allow others to tell me what they think of it thus far. Ima get the rest I need, check for any feedback, and then try to finish the mod. When the mod is finished I will remove the "(beta)" part of the title and this mod won’t just be an incomplete piece of work that the vast majority of people who view it pass up on it for not being complete. BTW there is no dlc needed. I enabled the Delmatae for custom battles for those (including me) that do not have the Pirates and Raiders Pack. 😉 *
