The Oblivion is a heavily upgradeable high manoeuvrability CV Fighter. Probably the closest thing to a ‘meta’ build I’ve done so far. Stock it comes as a stripped down Core 7, which is set up to kill legacy infectors. Mostly to earn you the upgrade kits needed for a heavy plasma weapon setup. When fully upgraded, this should be able to kill everything the scenario can currently throw at you. With the usual caveat: when piloted right.
It can be upgraded to Max core, with 8 Heavy guns, a full medium turret setup and a full set of shield upgrades with a large fusion generator. And Drones.
It does not come with space for any plasma turbines or hydroponics, but is instead a fully commited combat ship that is designed for space combat, and nothing else. Does have a small Hangar though. The generator will redline at times, that is intended.
The interior is built mostly for jet-pack use, with large openings to fly around. It does include the new telepads, which are required to get up to the cockpit on planets as it doesn’t include an elevator. There is also mostly no fluff, with only a minimal crew room, for small rests on short patrols. So for survival gameplay this should be paired with a carrier, like my Exodus.

Update 09.01.2026: Added missing Floodlights and some more turret hardpoints. Also made the top Launcher Bays one block longer to allow placement of heavy lasers. Use those slots if you use the lasers, the lower ones will block them on close range.
