An alternative battle skill mod for sentinels
This mod changes battle skills for sentinels: tenacity_of_steel, adamant_resolve and tempered_deflection.
If you think those skills are suck or relatively useless or not fun, this is the mod you need.
This mod should be compatible with any other mods unless they do touch things about sentinels’ skills.
One possible conflict is with skill-deactivation conditions. If a mod replaces a table entirely about those conditions, the mod is not compatible with this mod.

CA said "sentinels are strongly defensive characters and excel at locking down enemy generals and holding the line."
Yeah, definitely they are defensive but locking down.. what? just by following generals butts?
Holding the line? your line will be easily collapsed by cavalry’s charges and vangaurds attacks.
And they are not fun to use at all in battles!
It is probably due to that sentinels’ skills are not attractive.
Basically those skills don’t have a distinctive character (just a minor version of commanders skills).
The purpose of this mod is making sentinels fun to use in battles as lore-friendly as possible.
So I re-designed sentinels’ skill as the way that they actually can do what CA said they should do.
The concept of sentinels in this mod is that a hero who fight with soldiers and encourage them with a consistent buff.
And also interrupting cavalry & generals by debuffing their charge & speed stats.
Additionally, if you are familiar with the romance of three kingdoms, you know that representative figures for sentinels are experts at siege defenses.
So making sentinels good at defensing bottle-neck points is reasonable.
Each changed skills represents each concepts of sentinels in this mod.
A. TENACITY OF STEEL
"a hero who fight with soldiers and encourage them with a consistent buff."
Now, the tenacity of steel not only gives a buff to the hero himself but also spreads the same buff to nearby soldiers.
Currently, soldiers within 25 meters get the buff.
Also, the phase is changing little faster (15 to 12s) and a morale buff is added.
Therefore, soldiers who fight nearby sentinels will be stronger & resilient.
Also, as you can see in screenshots, the enable conditions is changed.
In vanilla, intermittent charges of sentinels remove phase stacks because their stance is changed to ‘moving’ from ‘engaged’.
The changed condition minimizes such annoying problem.
B. TEMPERED DEFLECTION
"interrupting cavalry & generals by debuffing their charge & speed stats."
The tempered deflection is totally changed. This skill now gives a debuff to nearby enemy within 12m.
C. ADAMANT RESOLVE
"good at defensing bottle-neck points."
The adamant resolve additionally gets a range-evasion buff and disciplined buff.
Its effective radius becomes smaller (50 to 25m) and active duration becomes shorter (20 to 10s), yet the cooldown is reduced (60 to 20s).
So in the sense of frequency, this skill now give the buff in 1/3 frequency (more frequent than 1/4 in vanilla.).
It seems OP right now.
