[B42] Frockin Splendor! Vol.4
This mod is the second part of a multi-stage project to improve and expand a certain B41 mod and bring it to B42. With all major branches being brought over to B42, this concludes most of the effort, and makes Volume 4 the final instalment in the mainline series.
There will be an epilogue after this one to tie every volume and Shirts & Ties together with zombie outfits that utilises the combined varieties of the franchise, and bring over any leftover items. Currently there are at least 22 zombie outfit archetypes and 12 famous zombie outfits planned for the epilogue.
A: YES.
A: While the mod is save compatible, you will need to go to areas previously unexplored for the new items to start spawning in. A new tech has allowed this mod to place items in custom containers, or, "gift boxes", inside other containers such as wardrobes or crates. This way all Frockin Splendor! clothes can be found in reasonable quantities, while not crowding out the loot tables for vanilla and other modded items. These "gift boxes" have between 0.55% and 1.19% chance to spawn.
A: At the current stage B42 crafting is in a very unfinished state. There are placeholder codes and recipes and are clearly subject to change. It would be unwise to overhaul the old crafting recipes only to have to redo it when The Indie Stone inevitably changes things. Crafting will come later. With that being said, I have built a structural framework to define fishnet and nylon as separate fabric types, so you will be able to salvage the items for threads and xp.
A: All Frockin Splendor! mods are guaranteed to be compatible with each other. There should be no conflicts with other mods, to the best of knowledge. Please report any error you encounter in the BUG REPORT post.
A: All but one clothing items do not have a separate mesh, meaning that they can be used with various character model mods without issue.
A: Ask for permission!
A: Feel free to do translation, and I’d be happy to incorporate them into the mod, but I kindly ask that back-ports are NOT to be made.
A: After Frockin’ Splendor! Epilogue is published I will think about porting everything new back to B41. Naturally, this will make Kink It Up! Extra obsolete, so I will need to think about the logistics of things. If MP comes to B42 beforehand then there would be no need anyway.
