Leopard-2A7V
Leopard 2A7V (literally, "V" from the German "Verbessert"—improved) is a modern modification of the German Leopard 2 main battle tank. In the mid-2010s, the German government abandoned plans to reduce the size of the Bundeswehr’s armored forces. A plan was formulated in collaboration with Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann, the manufacturer of the Leopard 2 MBT, to produce additional vehicles to a new, improved standard.
