Muskets for Gun Framework
Originally from Endgame Research, ported out for compatability with my Gun Framework and reskinned for cohesion with my Western Guns.
As the name implies, it requires the Gun Framework mod.
(This mod WILL work for Cowboys In Dreg Reloaded users, just ignore the warning. It ALSO serves as a compatability patch for users of Endgame Research and CIDR, or for just the Gun Framework.)
Adds in muskets, flintlock pistols, ammunition, and the ability to buy or manufacture more of them. Superior to the old Musket mod in every way.
To obtain, you can simply purchase them at any crossbow shop, or craft them yourself with nothing more than the basic gunsmithing and reloading researches. Simple guns, simple research- high damage…
Muskets and their pistol counterparts are (naturally) quite powerful, but take a really long time to reload given their black powder nature. In most cases, unarmored targets will not survive being shot. (Please refer to the US revolutionary war!) .50 caliber balls don’t feel good, even with a smoothbore!
