Become untouchable, let the enemy attack flow through you like water and strike them back with that same energy
Yi is a rushdown with a focus on parrying attacks, gain Qi through well timed parries and unleash powerful attacks by spending said Qi, the parry too is unique, lasting more than normal characters but working like regular super armor when not timed perfecty
Holding down the shield button will allow you to charge an unbounded counter, holding the button too long will put you in lag, release the button to unleash the unbounded counter, a long lasting strong parry that gives you double the Qi and pushes opponents away
Neutral special will fire the azure bow, the base arrow is a quick projectile that covers a lot of ground, however if the button is held you can spend 2 Qi charges to unleash the true power of the Bow
Forward special is a forward dash, if the button is held it will have a hitbox at the cost of 1 unit of Qi, on successful hit the opponent will be stunned for a little, you can hold the button further to charge the explosion, consuming extra Qi while doing so
Up special will fire the grappling hook at a hookpoint, the position of this hookpoint can be influenced through the stick and it will have a hitbox when the hook snaps to it, the aiming part will attempt to track any opponents in range, successfully hitting an opponent will not put you in pratfall, additionally, grappling the nymph will also not put you in pratfall but only once per air time
Down special will summon the Mystic Nymph, a handy tool created by Yi himself which reminds him fondly of his sister Heng, it can be controlled with the movement stick.
With the assistance of Kuafu, Yi’s Mystic Nymph has been modified. Yi wasn’t fond of the idea at first, but with how tactical his opponents are compared to the foes he dealt with in New Kunlun, he agreed to it.
The nymph itself can store Qi, each time it’s hit by an opponent, with neutral special or with forward special, it will gain charges, though getting hit by opponents will also eat at its health so watch out.
Pressing attack while controlling the nymph will turn it into a multi hit explosion, putting it in a cooldown after, the explosion itself lasts more the more energy the Nymph had stored.
Pressing shield will retreat the Nymph, putting it on cooldown and giving you all the stored Qi.
Down air can bounce on the Nymph up to 3 times per air time.
