New Update: Added Game Rules You can now customize the following settings via Game Rules:
AI Submission: Whether claiming the Mandate automatically forces AI rulers to become vassals.
Realm Dissolution: Whether Celestial vassals forfeit their Kingdom/Empire titles upon entering the Chaos Era.
Warlord Alignment: Whether Celestial vassals become Tributaries or Vassals of their Elders/Movement Leaders upon entering the Chaos Era.
Unify China Eligibility: Which ruler types are permitted to use the Unify China Casus Belli.
Fate of the Emperor: Decide the Emperor’s status after the Chaos Era begins (Independent, Controlled by the Secretariat, or Controlled by a Warlord).
Warlord Government: Whether Celestial Warlords automatically convert to Meritocracy.
Main Features:
As the title suggests, upon entering the Chaos Era, the Emperor will no longer be demoted to a landless gentry. Instead, a Kingdom-tier Ceremonial Liege title is created for the Emperor. The strongest Warlord adjacent to the Emperor’s domain will automatically seize all of the Emperor’s personal holdings. This Warlord will then create an Empire-tier Entrenched Regent title, utilizing mechanics similar to the Meritocratic.
Abdication & Restoration:
Usurpation: If your Prestige Level is higher than your Ceremonial Liege, or if you hold a Strong Hook on them, you can enact a decision to demand their Abdication. Afterwards, you can choose to treat them with honor, imprison them, or execute them.
Restoration: Alternatively, you can choose to Return Power to your Ceremonial Liege. You will then have the option to remain as a Regent with the balance of power fully tipped in your favor.
Note: Upon successfully Claiming the Mandate, both the Entrenched Regent and Ceremonial Liege titles will be automatically destroyed.
Extra Features:
Name Reset: Automatically resets all de jure title names of the Chinese Hegemony after claiming the Mandate.
Empire Consolidation: Automatically destroys Empire titles created by AI after claiming the Mandate.
Government Synchronization: Any Administrative government vassal (Administrative, Celestial, Sarai, Meritocratic, Bureaucratic) will automatically convert their government type to match their liege’s type when leadership changes.
