NASAMS
The NASAMS is a Norwegian medium range air defence system. This system uses the proven AIM-120 AMRAAM as its missile. Due to it’s versatility and capability, it’s used as a point defence by countries such as Norway, Indonesia, Netherlands, Ukraine, and the USA. It has proved its strength in Ukraine by destroying Russian drones and ordnances. In addition, NASAMS is placed in Teluk Naga, Tangerang to protect Indonesia’s capital, Jakarta.
This missile is a high speed long range missile. Therefore, it is not really advised to shoot it at high speed low altitude targets. The missile however can still maneuver. It still is best to use it against high altitude and cold aspect shot.
