Legacy of Timur: An Age of Gunpowder (1.2)
As the Mongol storm recedes, the lands of the Middle East stir once more. Dynasties old and new now sharpen their blades to carve their domains from the wreckage. Yet in the central steppes, a young child, destined to reshape Persia, draws his first breath. In the west, the Byzantines lie decadent, while the neighboring Ottomans prepare to turn their blades toward them. In the south, the Mamluks stand strong as keepers of the Caliph, yet omens of an ill future, cling to them. As tensions rise, surely, the region will be reforged in steel and powder.
