Introduction

A new character has been added: the protagonist of the Cultist Simulator, who can also be called the Know. (this Aspiriant can pass through the Stag Gate without answering riddles, so this title seems quite appropriate.)

In this mod, you can (will be able to):

  • Explore The Mansus, discover and perform rituals, obtain items, and summon spirits;
  • Follow the Red Grail, the Twins, or the Forge of the days, recruit followers, and train them as thieves, researchers, or minions to assist your cause;
  • Translate esoteric books, collect hidden knowledge, explore temples destroyed by stars, and even peek at the true form of the Eternal Night;
  • Avoid the attention of investigators and authorities while trying to control the dangerous desires that arise from your research into the mysteries.

New Content

Principles

Nine principles of the Invisible arts in "Cultist Simulator" have been added. Each principle is closely related to a specific field.

  • Lantern: to drawcards and can also be used to enter the Mansus.
  • Forge: to consume cards, upgradecards, and obtain energy.
  • Edge: to damage and gain strength.
  • Winter: Deals damage to self at the end of each turn, but can also be used against enemies.
  • Heart: to block and gain dexterity.
  • Grail: to apply various status effects.
  • Moth: is easier to increase, but it resets at the end of each turn.
  • Knock: to enter the Mansus or to summon in rituals.
  • SecretHistories: to increase loot (cards, gold, even relics).

There are two different ways to obtain the principles: You can raise your principles to the same vale of the card if a card has more principle than your owned, while some cards can directly increase the value of the principles.

Cards

Added over 120 cards.

  • Use Lore, Influence, Tools, Ingredients and Followers to obtain the principles;
  • Consume the principles to draw cards from Mansus;
  • Consume the principles to perform Rituals, triggering powerful effects or summoning spirits from Mansus.

The Lore cards can be upgraded multiple times; the Door of Mansus card can not only be upgraded multiple times but also be upgraded by resting at the campfire. Cards such as Influence and Summoning can only be temporarily added to the hand through specific methods.

Others

The music of the original game has been replaced with the soundtrack of the Cultist Simulator.

Update Summary

Tutorials have been added!
The initial deck has been adjusted to 5 Edge Pawns and 4 Heart Pawns, making it easier to distinguish them now;
Upgraded tools and ingredients will now grant more principle;
The Mansus card pool has been adjusted to pseudo-random, resulting in a more balanced outcome;
The favor in the Mansus card pool has been removed (expected to return along with the reputation system);
The Lores and Influences of Winter, Moth, and Knock have been adjusted to make them more functional;
A large number of balance adjustments and bug fixes have been made. For details, please refer to the change log.

Now you can choose in the config whether to use the BGM of the Cultist Simulator;
Unique effects have been added to the abilities of each principle!
New effects that get stronger with levels have been designed for Lores and Influences!
Other cards that overlap with the abilities of criteria, Secret Teachings, and Influences have been adjusted.
A large number of balance adjustments and bug fixes have been made. For details, please refer to the change log.

Future Update Plans

Events: Translating books, drawing paintings, exploring locations, or even ascending;
More Relics: Such as a large number of books (to make the growth of the Secret Teachings more reasonable);
Reputation System: Secret Aura, Evil Name, Evidence, and Hunters, including related cards, enemies, and events…
