Description:

The game already has expeditions you can discover via exploration that provide endless resources, but they are all random chance and you won’t see more than one or two of them in most playthroughs, if any.

I like to play extended games that last dozens of years, which can create a resource shortage for non-renewable resources that are used a lot for construction. Stone, metal and (on Desertum) wood, specifically. This mod creates endlessly visitable expeditions for those resources, gauranteed in all playthroughs.

The mod is not well-balanced for playthroughs where you just are trying to "win the game", obviously.

Additions/changes list:

  • New "Infinite Ore" expedition
  • New event for falling debris that should cycle it more frequently.
  • Modified breakthrough discovery expedition with a raised threshold for how many unhidden breakthroughs are needed before it stops showing up (changed from 10 to 20).
  • New Meteor Crater expedition for opportunity to gather endless stone, and endless ore and even a little silicon at higher physical skill levels.
  • New Forest Fire expedition, with opportunity to gather endless wood, and endless fuel at higher physical skills.
  • Change to the "Explore" scaling so that the time for exploration should not scale up quite as quickly.
  • Modified the game’s default "Endless Happiness" expedition (the Mystic Grove). They will now cure Connor’s Infected Vision implant if he visits the stones. They will not remove his vision implants, so eventually re-infection will occur.
