在南天门战役地图中，中日双方都设置了大量火炮阵地，因此火炮MOD至关重要；上南天门的路分为左右两条，左边有弹坑可躲避子弹和火炮，右边有沙墙可抵挡南天门据点的机枪火力，但需直面日军第56野炮兵联队1大队的火炮侵袭。

The Battle of Nantianmen is an adaptation of the TV drama "My Captain, My Regiment", inspired by the Battle of Songshan in western Yunnan during the Chinese War of Resistance Against Japan. In 1944, the Japanese army occupied Songshan in western Yunnan, cutting off China’s only international transportation line – the Burma Road. The terrain of Songshan is steep, and the Japanese army has built strong defensive fortifications here, forming a situation of easy defense but difficult attack. The Chinese Expeditionary Force launched the arduous Songshan Campaign to reopen the Yunnan Burma Road and restore the international aid channel.
