Example Mod – Custom Map Type
This is a mod that gives an example custom Map Type and includes a full PDF guide to making custom map types on your own. As of the release of Update 7, this also includes an example of a custom Generator that allows for more modular control over the map-making process.
Use this as a reference and guide to making custom map types of your own!
The content for this mod is not designed for play, being a slightly edited version of the Islands map type with comments on how it was made.
To find the files for workshop mods, they can be found under "…/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/1268590/"
