Are you tired of seeing the same ruler and heir names over and over again? This mod aims to refresh the game’s naming pool by adding a wider variety of names for rulers, heirs, and court members across different cultures.

Compatible with version 1.2.1 (for Vanilla Games)

Anatolia Region (Turkish) *UPDATED*
  • Massive Expansion: The pool has been expanded to 126+ names (added 48 new names in the latest update on top of the previous 78). (94 Male, 32 Female)
  • Localization Overhaul: Completely fixed spelling errors and "Turkified" vanilla names to reflect authentic Turkish naming conventions.
  • Male Includes: Historical figures, Sultans, Pashas, Naval Commanders (Barbaros & Oruç), and names from the late-Ottoman period (Jön Turks era).
  • Female Includes: Legendary Valide Sultans and Princesses such as Hürrem, Kösem, Mihrimah, Nurbanu, Safiye, and historical figures like Halime and Nilüfer Hatun.

Iberia Region (Castilian & Spanish)
  • Added 31 new names (21 Male, 10 Female) to the Castilian culture.
  • Male Includes: Legendary figures of the Reconquista (Pelayo, Rodrigo/El Cid), historic Kings (Ramiro, Ordoño), and famous explorers/conquistadors (Vasco, Pizarro, Cortés).
  • Female Includes: Powerful Queens and noblewomen like Urraca, Berenguela, Violante, and Mafalda.

Great Britain Region (English)
  • Added 57 new names (33 Male, 24 Female) to the English culture.
  • Includes: diverse range of historical names from the medieval period to common Protestant names, significantly reducing repetition for English rulers and heirs.

France Region (French & Occitan)
  • Added 29 new names (23 North, 6 South) to the French name pools.
  • Includes: Missing essential royal names (Charles, Henri, François), major ducal names (Anjou, Brittany), and distinct regional names for Southern France to differentiate from the North.

Italy Region (North & South)
  • Added 35 new culturally distinct names (22 Male, 13 Female) to differentiate the North from the South.
  • North Italian: Focuses on Tuscan, Venetian, and Lombard flavor. Includes iconic names like Alvise, Cosimo (Medici), Dante, and Ginevra.
  • South Italian: Adds depth to Neapolitan and Sicilian identity with names like Gennaro, Tancredi, Ruggero, and Rosalia.

German Region (Germanic & Dutch) — *NEW*
  • Expanded Pool: Added 48 new names (28 Male, 20 Female) and 52 unique dynasties across the German and Dutch cultures.
  • Regional Flavor: Specifically tailored to represent the Holy Roman Empire’s internal diversity, including High German and Dutch dialects.
  • Male Includes: Strong traditional names like Michael, Eberhard, and Engelbert.
  • Female Includes: Classic medieval figures such as Kunigunde, Ottilia, and Mechthild.

Byzantine Empire (Greek Language) — *NEW*
  • Imperial Restoration:Added 26 authentic Greek names (14 Male, 12 Female) and 6 historical dynasties to bring the Eastern Roman Empire to life.
  • Historical Depth: Focuses on the names of famous emperors, scholars, and saints to ensure the Basileus feels truly Roman.
  • Male Includes: Manuel, Nikephoros, and Symeon.
  • Female Includes: Iconic names like Theodora, Xene, and Thamar.

Balkan Region (Slavic & Albanian) — *NEW*
  • Regional Diversity: Massive expansion with 58 new names and 16 dynasties covering Serbo-Croatian, Bulgarian, and Albanian cultures.
  • Cultural Identity: Distinct naming conventions for each group to prevent generic repetition in the Balkans.
  • Male Includes: Historical Balkan leaders and figures such as Ivan, Juraj, and Lekë.
  • Female Includes: Traditional regional names like Milica, Jelena, and Vojsava.
