The Abyssal is a fully fleshed-out custom character with a primary focus on deck control and mechanic synergies rather than raw power.

• Custom animated character sprite
• 80+ cards, with new artwork
  (mostly AI art using Midjourney, some custom art, and a few public domain pieces)
• 11+ new relics
• 2 new potions
• Currently available in: English, Russian, Spanish, Simplified Chinese
  (if you’re interested in translating, leave a comment below!)

• Use your starter relic to get a Cannon to fight enemies with, or defer it until a later act to get a more powerful Cannon
• Attack enemies with Cannonball cards which become more powerful with your Cannon
• Apply Ink to enemies to reflect their damage back on themselves
• Manipulate and control your deck through Bury and Dig mechanics, discarding cards from your draw pile and returning/upgrading cards from your discard pile
• Lure powerful beasts to fight for you by putting debuff cards in your deck

• This piratey-themed character is not a rip off of JohnnyBazooka89’s The Blackbeard, and I didn’t know anything about that character until after this was finished. I should have known before starting that there would already be a pirate mod in the community! Anyway, this obviously borrows from the same generic pirate tropes but this should be the only dimension along which they are similar (although I have not played The Blackbeard extensively)
