The Nike system was the first operational guided SAM system in the world, its purpose was to protect American cities from soviet bomber fleets but was later exported

MIM-3 Ajax[en.wikipedia.org] was the first of the Nike missiles, it was a two stage radar guided surface-to-air missile. It could reach speeds of up to Mach 2.25 and would climb to an altitude of 21 km from which it would descend and strike its target vertically. It had a conventional warhead triggered when it reached a certain distance from its target.

MIM-14 Hercules[en.wikipedia.org] was the successor to the ajax. It shared most of its DNA but basically every aspect was improved. It could now reach speeds of up to Mach 4 and its service ceiling was 30 km. Due to the poor accuracy of the Ajax, the bell engineers came up with a very 1960s solution and instead of making it more accurate, they attached a W31 Nuclear warhead to the missile

The after using countermeasures, the missiles regain lock after the specific time, this isn’t overpowered, this is the bare minimum to not make them completely useless and its still very easy to dodge them

Speed – 450 m/s
Proximity fuse – 30 m

Hercules Nuclear (Note: a totally overpowered joke of a missile that should only be used on VERY big maps)

Speed – 450 m/s
Proximity fuse – 500 m
Damage radius 1000 m
Relocking time – 6ss

Keybinds

Middle mouse – Lock target

Tutorial

1. Line up your target the central screen
2. Position it so the blip intersects with the horizontal lines
3. Click the middle mouse button(unless you set it up in the mutator) when the LOCK light turns on
4. Check if the FIRE light is on
5. Launch
