This is my take on the popular game mode in Enter the Gungeon, rebalanced to fit the pace and structure of Isaac.

– Any version of REPENTOGON

FEATURES
New game mode, just touch the chest at the start to begin a RAINBOW RUN
A custom completion mark for vanilla characters
3 exciting custom challenges, find them in the challenge menu
Customizable, you can change various settings

HOW IT WORKS
Every 2 floors, gain access to a RAINBOW CHEST that spawns a selection of 8 quality 3-4 items, and you get to choose 1.

However, every other item is removed from the floor, so you’ve got to survive using only items from the rainbow chest.

There is only one exception. You can still get boss items, but only IF you manage to kill the boss without taking damage. You gotta play well for your stats!

THERE’S OPTIONS
(Requires Mod Config Menu Pure)
– Rainbow Chest frequency (how many floors per chest)
– Guarantee X amount of quality 4 items
– Disable the item deletion mechanic

CHALLENGES
– Bloody Rainbow: Chests only open if you give a health donation
– Back to Basics!: Only items from Flash Isaac appear
– Low Quality Challenge: Can you beat Mega Satan with only quality 0 and 1 items?
