Change Heir’s Dynasty
With this MOD, you no longer need to worry about famous dynasties such as the Palaiologos, Komnenos, Habsburg, or Rurik going extinct simply because the heir is female and the game does not support matrilineal marriage.
Now you can change the heir’s dynasty. As long as the heir does not belong to your ruler’s dynasty, is a minor, and is in your court, you can have them join your ruler’s dynasty. No more worries about foreign heirs causing a dynasty to die out.
New feature: You can now change the dynasty of AI country’s heirs. As long as they are within diplomatic range, are minors, and their dynasty differs from the current ruler’s, you can use this new diplomacy action in the Influence Actions tab to change their dynasty. This action does not consume a diplomat.
Please note: my native language is Chinese, so this MOD only has Chinese and English localization. If the English text feels awkward, I apologize; my English is not sufficient to produce a better localization.
Additionally, due to some recent changes by Paradox, uploaded MODs may experience missing content, and the cover image might fail to load. I had to upload this MOD five times before it succeeded. If you encounter any bugs, please report them promptly.
I noticed a bug report saying the mod does not work, but I cannot reproduce the issue even after switching my game to the English version. Please make sure the character action’s prerequisite requirements are met, as everything works correctly in my English tests. I’ve also uploaded a preview screenshot showing the feature in action—the third image in the mod description.
