CRM x WIF

CRM x WIF provides a tactical overhaul to the WARNO experience, bringing realistic line of site, slower, more methodical gameplay, larger scale, reworked air combat, nation freedom decks, expanded air wings, and much more, alongisde the modern units of the World in Flames mod.
**The mod works with Army General but does NOT have the new units in it.

CRM seeks to create a more realistic experience by scaling up engagement ranges for most weapons. Most direct fire ground-to-ground weapons are scaled 1.5x, while SAMs and AAMs engagements are scaled 2-3x. This is combined with tree lines breaking line-of-site and providing increased stealth bonuses. Aircraft altitudes have also been increased and ground unit speeds have been reduced by 25%. While weapons may not exactly match their real world counterparts, this mod seeks to find the realistic balance between Eugen’s compressed scale / maps and practical real-world conditions.
CRM increases player choice by introducing nation and alliance freedom decks with 100 activation points and 1 point card slots. It also includes an expanded air wing that can hold up to 20 aircraft.
Skirmish AI has been reworked so Very Easy AI is defensive but more aggressive with artillery and airstrikes. Hardest has been changed to be extra aggressive in the offense. The extra units AI receives in vanilla has been reduced.
- (CRMxWIF) Missile Interception: Appropriate SAMs and AAMs can now intercept cruise missiles and PGMs.
- (CRMxWIF) Air Launched Cruise Missile [ALCM] aircraft variants.
- Bailout Condition: While all unit health has been increased +2, vehicles will have crews bail out when <10% health. Stealth is buffed in this condition significantly to increase likelihood of vehicle recovery.
- Entrenchment: After 30 seconds stationary, HMG, AGL, and AT crews receive physical and suppressive damage reduction to simulate fortifications. They also get forward deployment.
- Stun rework: Artillery and bombs have increased suppression and stuns last 8 seconds. However, infantry will get a stealth and damage reduction bonus to simulate taking cover/going prone. Vehicles will now have limited reaction, but will not be stun locked.
- UAV Jamming: Command vehicles, SIGINT recon units and FOBs can jam UAS. Drones will lose all optical strength and become nonselectable until outside of the radius.
- Artillery Fire Direction: FOBs and command vehicles reduce aiming time for nearby artillery units.
- IADS (Integrated Air Defense System) ability: significantly decreases aim time of affected SAMs and increases air optics (for FOBs and AA radar units).
- Electronic Warfare: will also increase SAM aim time and cancel IADS abiilty
- Conquest: 6000, 8000, 10000 and 20000 point modes.
- C&C: 1% and 3% upkeep options.
- Multiplied Army General tactical battle points and time limit x2.
- (CRMxWIF) Missile trajectories: Cruise missiles, top attack missiles given appropriate trajectories
- SEAD: significantly increased SEAD detection range and give HARMs loft delivery profile.
- Ability radius increased for command, EW, IFV, etc.
- Supply: Supply radius increased 2.5x but supply delivery time for repairs and ammunition significantly increased. FOBs get forward deployment.
- Fuel: Units can move 5x the distance on their fuel tanks.
- CAS aircraft have been given ground sensors.
- SUAS can be targeted like helicopters and by helicopters.
- Helicopter and aircraft movement is less erratic and more realistic.
- Automatic Grenade Launchers: AGLs can now provide indirect fire and rate of fire has been increased.
- Satchels: Satchels have been replaced by grenade launchers.
- Unguided Bombs: experience reduced drag so they can be launched from further away to increase aircraft survivability.
- Smoke given to recon infantry.
- Cosmetic changes: such as LOS tool extension, larger SAM smoke trails, reduced artillery smoke trails, infantry dead bodies stay, destroyed vehicle fires last longer, etc…
- Visual Effects Enhancements: supply, artillery and AA units have secondary explosions when hit, missile trails linger longer, etc…
- AP Damage Rework: AP more accurate but does less damage on penetration.

- Add visible interceptor trait icon.

- Transport rework to allow for multiple smaller squads to fit inside larger vehicles.
- (?) Overkill mechanic for missiles so you don’t shoot a bunch of missiles all at one target.
