[VJ]No More Room in Hell Expanded SNPCs
I’ve finished working on this, it’ll only be bug fixes from here on out. It was fun, but unfortunately this mod has been buried and is unlikely to get much more traffic. If you like this mod leave a like, and if you find any bugs comment them below.
This was originally an attempt to faithfully recreate behavior of zombies and infection system within No More Room in Hell. Instead I got carried away adding in new gimmicks and features to prove that I could and because it was fun. In the end I added an array of features that exist because I think they’re cool divided between what is in No More Room in Hell and what isn’t.
Features in No More Room in Hell:
– Infection System
– Reanimating Zombies(Yes really, there’s a 25% chance in Objective that they do get back up)
– Zombies turning into runners when set on fire
– Zombies only dying from Headshots
Features not in No More Room in Hell
– Contact Based Infection System
– Air Infection System
– Reanimating Zombies turning into runners
– Zombies turning into runners when pissed off(AKA shot at too much)
– Runners gradually turning into walkers
– Walkers turning back into runners after killing people
– Zombies regaining health on kill
– Melee being broke(had to do that to make Headshots only work, melee can’t really tell whether or not you hit the head)
– And some other stuff I can’t bother to recall
I also added an option to replace HL2 NPCs with No More Room in Hell Zombies, mainly because loading a save with my zombies spawned results in error spam so it kinda acts as a work around.
A last thing I wanna mention is that the addon can distinguish between female, male, and soldier models and spawn a zombie based on that. I mention it last because I don’t have custom models so it really doesn’t make the hugest difference. However, this is compatible with CSO zombies, so these models (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=919815424) will turn into these models (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2653248518) when zombified, if you’re into that.
