EUVaifu Universalis
The mark of the righteous nation is a flag with a woman emblazoned upon it.
In-essence the spiritual successor to the grand sensation that was EU4’s Waifu Universalis, with slightly less anime and slightly more visual novel thrown in the mix (as I have been told, anyway).
The idea for this mod came about roughly during April 2024, when it started becoming increasingly obvious that Project Caesar was going to be EU5.
For the most part it started as an excuse for me to practice my art- but I do also know that there’s a market for mods like this up and about in this playerbase; so here I am providing.
- An ever-increasing number of women present upon the flags of the world’s many nations, all hand-drawn.
- The rendering of most* flags in the game as squares, for better visibility.
- The annihilation of character portraits from the premises of the left panel.
* (For some reason the flags on hegemony tooltips refuse to obey me, this will in due time be ameliorated)
No lmao, the mere act of adding new flags disables achievements, tough luck.
Naturally this mod conflicts with anything that adds new flags, it’ll also conflict with a good few GUI mods- especially if those mods tamper with the top-left panel, and most GUI elements upon which flags might appear. Anything beyond that however should be fine.
- A Flag Viewer panel, in order for the flags to be better appreciated in-game.
- Localisation tidbits a la "Great Power" -> "Main Character", etc.
- Even more flags
I’m noting also that this mod is still a work-in-progress and that I don’t really have a complete grasp of the GUI script yet, so do forgive some small flukes or weird overlaps in the GUI here and there- they will in time be fixed.
Want to praise me for my entrepreneurship? Want to curse my lineage to my face? Want higher-res versions of the in-game assets (With extra versions of said assets too)? Then come by the mod’s discord server[discord.gg] and say hi!
