[WOTC] Haywire Turn-End Tweak
Ever feel like Specialists start falling behind in the endgame pace?
This tweak removes Haywire Protocol’s "consume all remaining actions" behavior.
Your specialists can now keep momentum after doing one of their core jobs.
Features
- Disables Haywire’s use-all-actions flag (no forced turn-end).
- Does not change Haywire’s AP cost; you keep whatever AP you have left.
- Can remove the turn-ending flag of ANY ABILITY via INI expansions.
- Lightweight and compatibility-friendly.
- Suggested to use alongside [WOTC] Cost-Based Ability Colors.
- Safe to use with other large mods that include this as a bonus feature.
Hack the target. Keep the tempo.
Action Point Note
This doesn’t alter Haywire’s action cost; it should still have its default cost of one AP.
If another mod changes Haywire’s cost, this mod respects it; you simply retain any leftover AP.
Suggested Paired Mods
- [WOTC] Hacking Proficiency – Lifts the failed hack nerf, reverting it to system shutdown.
- [WOTC] Soldier Development Redux – Grants +hack progression on every hack attempt. Do not use Hack Plus – WotC, it has a severe math flaw.
- [WOTC] Hacking AP Investment – Commit extra AP to hacking for slight success boost.
- Zelfana’s Assorted Fixes – Has a variant of this mod dormant in its INI. I suggest using it with her config addon, which enables a lot of great fixes (but not its haywire tweak).
