AC-40 (ZiL 130 Firetruck)
AC-40 (131) The model 137 is a fire tanker truck mounted on the chassis of a ZIL—131 four-wheel drive truck. It is designed to deliver a combat crew of 7 people, fire fighting equipment, water and a foaming agent to the fire site, as well as to extinguish a fire with water from a tank, an open reservoir or a water supply network, air-mechanical foam using a foaming agent brought or taken from an outside tank. The most common type of fire truck in the former USSR, which can still be found in almost all cities and rural areas in the CIS. The silhouette of this particular car has become so recognizable that its stylized image is often used in fire attributes or on posters of fire propaganda.
