Have you ever wanted to play MP Combat Patrol (by Josef Zemanek of Bohemia Interactive) with an AI team leader or with an AI team, or with Close Air Support and Artillery?
Now you can!
Combat Patrol offers quick cooperative gameplay by placing you and your squad mates together into an infantry team, and giving you the option to select the area that you want to play in. Each session is different thanks to the scenario’s heavily randomized nature.

In this Combat Patrol Trainer mission, I’ve added waypoints for the AI as well as added Support: Close Air Support (CAS) and Artillery.
Features:
-Music and generic radio messages
-Random time
-Random weather
-AI Medics are scripted to heal
-Support still online after respawn
-Base offers refueling and repair
-Mouse scroll wheel to turn on/off IR lasers
-Mission parameters such as turn advanced AI off
===KNOWN ISSUE===
-Cannot spawn correctly as pilot, copilot, vehicle crew. Workaround: switch to vehicle bound unit after mission starts via Team Switch. I’ve put days into overcoming this to no success so far.
Notes:
-PLAY SINGLE PLAYER FROM THE MULTIPLAYER>HOST SERVER MENU
-PRESS "P" FOR SCOREBOARD.
-YOU (THE HUMAN) WILL HAVE TO ACCOMPLISH THE MISSION OBJECTIVES!!!
-HOLD "J" TO SEE THE TASKS/WAYPOINTS
-Player Host becomes Team Leader upon Exfiltration to address the problems in AI not completing the mission.
-CALL FOR SUPPORT (while in-game, see Field Manual: Tactics):
—Opening a command menu [0].
—Selecting Communications [8].
—Requesting Support Type.
—And finally, selecting the unit to provide support.
—With the communications menu open, scroll in the map by using the [Left Ctrl + Mouse Wheel].

Keyboard Key 0 0 1 – then choose option from mouse scroll wheel
-0-0-1 Radio Alpha Infiltrate
-0-0-1 Radio Bravo AT Fire at Target
-0-0-1 Radio Charlie Detonate Explosive Charges (if charges are placed)
-0-0-1 Radio Delta Exfiltrate to change the waypoints (upon completion of the tasks)

Known Issues:
-In an unmodified version of Combat Patrol, the mission does not end correctly if the objectives haven’t been completed – this is a problem in the Bohemia Interactive mission MP Combat Patrol.
-Sometimes the Transportation by Helicopter messes up with Support calls. Quickest solution – team switch to pilot and fly, slower solution: use High Command to command pilot.
-Ending condition is that all units must be within 30 meters of the Exfiltration Point. This can be problematic with AI units and no team switch.
