Description:

Have you ever struggled with road construction planning? Overwhelmed by too many ports and unsure which to choose? Or completely at a loss when it comes to overseas territories? While the original OGAS mod is excellent, it still has a few shortcomings. This mod introduces numerous improvements and fixes on top of the original version.

Many thanks to the original mod author for their hard work! You do not need to install the original mod separately.

How to Use:

1. Subscribe to this mod and launch the game, and activate this mod.
2. Wait one month to enter the OGAS situation.
3. Click the "Reset" button. You’ll now see OGAS has calculated a nationwide road construction plan. Hover your mouse over any location to view detailed information.
4. Click the "Resume" button, and OGAS will immediately begin construction. If funds are insufficient, click again to pause.

Features:

(Some terms might be off since I don’t play games in English)
1. No manual placement needed: OGAS automatically selects optimal starting points for road construction, eliminating concerns about overseas territories or port selection.
2. Add a Market Access Mode.
3. Enhanced visualization: In the situation map, hover over any location to instantly see its current and optimal proximity — giving you a clearer understanding of planning outcomes.
4. Upgraded core algorithm: OGAS now computes road plans for all locations simultaneously, guaranteeing globally optimal results.
5. Road that generate higher tax base receive priority.
6. If a location cannot achieve positive proximity even with roads, construction will be skipped — saving your budget.

Bug Fixes:

1. Strait logic corrected: No more absurd road loops around the Black Sea or roads getting stuck at straits.
2. Cost flooring: Minimum proximity cost is now correctly capped at 0. 01, matching vanilla behavior.

Known Issues:

1. OGAS doesn’t react in real time to changes in maritime presence. It calculates based on current data — click "Reset" to refresh the plan.
2. Rivers and lakes may cause certain locations to show higher proximity than expected — similar to ports. Usually becomes better after a reset.
3. A few unowned regions (e.g., Egypt’s desert corridor) or vassal territories might require manual road construction first; then click "Reset" to include them in the plan.
