Hailing from the Kanto region, Raichu may live in Pikachu’s shadow, but he proves time and time again that raw speed, power and experience can be just as electrifying! Agile movement, sharp ranged attacks and clever mix-ups allow Raichu to pressure opponents from both the ground and the air.

When the moment is right, Raichu can call down lightning itself, overcharging his body and unlocking devastating new techniques.

Neutral Special: Electro Ball
Raichu fires an electric projectile straight ahead. A reliable zoning tool that helps control space and force approaches.

Side Special: Thunder Punch
Raichu lunges forward with a crackling punch! A high-commitment burst attack with a strong sweetspot and weaker sourspot, perfect for calling out careless movement.

Down Special: Thunder
Raichu calls down a bolt of lightning directly above himself! If Raichu is struck by his own Thunder, he activates Lightning Rod, entering a powerful overcharged state.

Down Special (LR): Thunder Burst
While under the effects of Lightning Rod, Thunder is replaced with Thunder Burst, a fast, close-range electric explosion that blasts opponents away!

Up Special: Quick Attack
Raichu zips through the air in a single, angleable burst of speed. If Quick Attack connects, Raichu enters a special recovery pose, allowing him to freely act afterward, perfect for creative follow-ups and movement tricks.

When struck by his own Thunder and his meter is fully maxed, Raichu activates Lightning Rod, temporarily overcharging himself with electricity! While active, Raichu’s movement stats are buffed and his special moves gain powerful EX properties inspired by classic fighting game installs.

NSPECIAL: Electro Ball becomes an EX-version that stops on contact, dealing multiple rapid hits before finishing with a powerful blast!

FSPECIAL: Thunder Punch gains an enhanced sweetspot with increased hit impact, making it even more threatening when spaced correctly.

DSPECIAL: Thunder is replaced with Thunder Burst, a fast, close-range electric explosion that pushes opponents away and ends Lightning Rod early as a powerful payoff!

Lightning Rod can only be activated deliberately and does not last forever, use it wisely to overwhelm your opponent before the charge runs out!
