What is this mod?

This mod is the LWOTC-converted version of the [WOTC] Psionic Archer class class mod, created upon commission.
The Psionic Archer is a custom soldier class designed around the Psionic Bow, a weapon introduced in [WotC] BowCaster-Psionic Guided Bow (ver 1.5) by Alterd-Rushnano.
Those gifted with exceptional psionic spatial control feel little need for something as heavy and cumbersome as conventional firearms in the field.

About the Class

This class is built around Alterd-Rushnano’s BowCaster ecosystem, using the newly created primary weapon, the "Psionic Bow", and a Psionic Amp as a secondary weapon.
Since there is no LWOTC bridge mod for the Psionic Bow weapon, this mod includes the bridge internally.

It is specialized purely for ranged combat. Depending on the situation, it can rapidly fire to suppress and eliminate groups of enemies at once, or deal explosive damage to a single target.

Ability Tree Overview
Bow Arts: Focuses on ranged offensive abilities that suppress enemies with the psionic bow and can even "blow them away." If you become exceptionally skilled in psionic archery, you may be able to condense a dimensional energy and fire it as a shot. Support: Specializes in supporting the squad through psionic abilities. Psionic: Enhances the class’s survivability with psionic powers, while using powerful area-of-effect psionic abilities to control and annihilate enemies. "Dimensional Rift" is no longer exclusive to the Avatar. Phantom: Grants improved stealth and abilities that make missions easier to execute while concealed.
Requirements

You must subscribe to all required items listed in the mod dependencies.

Important Notes

This class may be imbalanced in vanilla LWOTC, as its overall power values are set relatively high. All settings can be adjusted through the .ini files in the Config folder.
If you feel the overall damage of the skills is too high—and in most cases you probably will—you can tweak the values in the config files: XcomBow.ini (Psionic Bow abilities) and XComData_WeaponData.ini (Psi Amp abilities).

There’s currently a bug with the Bowcaster from the prerequisite mod (not the psionic bow) where it stays fixed to the character’s hip during use. I’ll try to find a solution, but I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to fix it.

Also, since I don’t play Long War, this mod hasn’t been tested in a Long War environment, so I can’t guarantee it will work perfectly in LWOTC. (Theoretically it should… but well, who knows.)
