OVA has flagged a cluster of Arachnid tunnel systems for “strategic data-driven cleansing,” and Rook is being reassigned to assist. Scattered across a barren desert sector lie abandoned OVA research outposts—each once used to monitor and catalogue tunnel behavior. Now, for reasons only half-explained, Dr. Thorne wants them reactivated and synced to a central targeting array.
Rook’s task is simple on paper: power the stations, build the targeting beacon, and stand clear. But the scale of the planned detonation—and the confidence with which OVA discusses it—raises more questions than answers. Since when did a research agency have access to ordnance this… decisive?
Push across the sands, secure the outposts, and prepare for whatever OVA calls “data collection.”
