Description:

Hey, drifters!

This is an ideological continuation of my previous mod – HatedMekkr’s Workshop: Respirators.

My goal was to make models using original meshes and textures, so that it would fit perfectly into the atmosphere and style of the game, and which felt like it could be in a vanilla game.

New items:

There are two types of gas masks:

  • Fog Mask;
  • Swamp Gas Mask;
  • Drifter’s Gas Mask.

Each gas mask has several types that differ visually.

It has an variant [L] – left, and [R] – right.
Indicates which side the filter is located on.

I made two versions of each model for two armor slots – Head and Belt, so that you can combine the look with vanilla armor.

FUNCTIONALLY, they are almost the same:

  • New types of Fog Mask have the same properties as vanilla;
  • Swamp Gas Mask has the same properties as the Swamp Ninja Mask (The stealth bonus has been removed.);
  • Drifter’s Gas Mask is intermediate option between the other two gas masks, and has slightly better properties than a Marsh gas mask.

VISUALLY, gives you more variety of armor in the game.

Blueprints and Crafting:

There are new blueprints that open the craft of gas masks:

Fog Mask:

  • Fog Masks [Left and Right]
    Value: 1000;
  • Fog Masks – Type II [ALL];
  • Fog Masks – Type III [ALL];
  • Fog Masks – Type IV [ALL].
    Value: 3450.

Swamp Gas Mask:

  • Swamp Gas Masks – Type I [ALL];
  • Swamp Gas Masks – Type II [ALL];
  • Swamp Gas Masks – Type III [ALL];
  • Swamp Gas Masks – Type IV [ALL];
  • Swamp Gas Masks – Type V [ALL].
    Value: 2250.

Drifter’s Gas Mask:

  • Drifter’s Gas Masks – Type I [ALL];
  • Drifter’s Gas Masks – Type II [ALL];
  • Drifter’s Gas Masks – Type III [ALL];
  • Drifter’s Gas Masks – Type IV [ALL];
  • Drifter’s Gas Masks – Type V [ALL].
    Value: 2750.

All gas masks can be crafted in Heavy Armour Smithy.

In the world:

From my previous mod, I made some conclusions about the placement of new items in the world, and this time I approached it even more responsibly and logically.

NPSc:

  • versions of the Fog Masks and Drifter’s Gas Masks can be found among random free adventurers, Opponents of Slavery, Wanderers, Shinobi Thieves and Tech Hunters.
  • You can find Swamp Gas Masks in swamps, Swamp Ninjas, etc.

Vendors:

  • New versions of Fog Mask can be purchased from Tech Hunters, Shinobi Thieves, King of Armor, and Mongrel. However, the blueprints for them will still be rare, so you can buy them from the Armour King and in Scraphouse.
  • Drifter’s Gas Masks can be bought from Tech Hunters, Shinobi Thieves and in Mongrel. Blueprints can be bought from them.
  • Swamp Gas Masks can be bought in swamps and from Shinobi Thieves. Same thing with bluepring.

Conflicts with other mods and Game Import:

As with my previous mod, I think there should be no conflicts with other mods due to the unique names of items, etc.

Game Import:

New gas masks will be found in the new, generated units that you will meet in the world of Kenshi.

All this will also appear in the vendors’ products after the assortment is updated.

Basically, of course, I would recommend that you make a game import, but there is no urgent need for this.

I’m not allow you to upload my mod to other resources without asking and redo them without my asking. If you have any such ideas, please be sure to discuss it with me.
