New Empire Unit: Imperial Combat Medics

This mod adds 2 units to the Empire roster: The Imperial Combat Medics and the Ambulance Wagon. Both units are specialized in healing other troops. They are getting killed easily in combat, but both units are fast enough to avoid combat, especially the ambulance wagon. The Combat Medics are cheap and early available and have no recruitment limit. The Wagon is shortly after them available and perform better in every aspect, though the recruitment is limited to 3 units. They are faster, way more resistance and their healing ability is better.

Combat Medics:
– Tier 2 unit
– Can be recruited in Barracks 2
– Can heal other units
– Units will receive heavy penalties for their stats, while being healed
– Will easily get killed in combat, so keep them out of the fight
– Fast infantry unit, to either flee from charging enemies or reach wounded troops
Ambulance Wagon:
– Tier 4 unit
– Can be recruited in Barracks 3 → Stables 4 is required too
– Faster than Combat Medics
– Way more resistance to everything, especially missile units
– Healed units will receives minor penalties against melee units, but provides heavy buffs vs. ranged units. The Wagon is designed to cover units, while getting patched up
– Compared to the Combat Medis, the Wagon is able to heal the mot fatal wounds and make them ready to fight once more (Resurrection effect)

The units are having an active ability which can be targeted to any friendly unit. They have to reach the unit very close to use it. Once active, both units will regenerate health. While the ability is active, both troops cannot move and will receive penalties for their stats, so use it wisely when they are currently safe to getting patched up. It cannot be used in combat and will be deactivated once they are engaged. Watch out for flanking units or ranged units, because the healed unit will receive way more damage than normal during the process.


Mod is technically compatible with basically anything, because it is just adding a new custom unit. It might need a submod for overhauls like SFO or Radious to match the stat changes.

– The tent of the wagon is only visible from the outer side. When you zoom in and look right into the wagon, it becomes invisible
– The model for the destroyed wagon is currently still vanilla. Might look a little bit off when destroyed (But when do you watch a destroyed model that much anway?)
