Description:
Have you thought that most countries in the game lacked identity?
Well I spent too much money on this game just to not play it because it doesn’t have enough content or to only play 4 out of 2354 total tags.

(the pictures above don’t represent the current state of all values in the mod, just for show)

I used a script to generate unique ideas for ALL 2354 tags in the game with over 100 personally vetted by me.

Below is part of the script that tells you how many ideas will be generated for each of the 6 ages.

Picked out most of the modifiers that are too specific for a religion or situtation. I used chance to dictate how high these "ideas" can go, if you find a very high modifier chances are it rolled 4-10% to get that high in the first place. I also have doubled the rarity for military ideas so balance isn’t totally broken.

***safe gaurds have been put in place to prevent completely broken ideas, i.e 90% discipline or -140% maintenance modifiers which means it would give you money***

For nations that got lucky enough to get content at launch, I did also give them the same ideas as any other tag but it left all the old content in there. I simply had the script shove the national ideas on top so you see them first.
If you don’t see an modifier that would make sense for one of these legacy tags, I didn’t want to give them 10% infantry combat in their traditions just to have another 10% given after 2 techs.

To "unlock" your national ideas, you just advance through the institutions and grab the first admin related tech. Afterwards you research the tech, all techs are now 24 research points instead of 25 (4% discount) to account for all the extra techs this mod added. All nations get 2-3 "traditions", since the requirement is "Written Alphabet" (and everyone starts with this tech) you get your bonuses immediately.

Regardless if you want to easily check what bonuses a nation got, it’s easy to identify them. They will always have this icon:

Or you can easily see them in the tech tree (top left):

If you want to see other nation’s ideas while in game, you can see them like this:

Below are all the tags I personally went through and handpicked bonuses for those countries. They’re loosely based on the EU4 National Ideas wiki page. https://eu4.paradoxwikis.com/National_ideas

Finally, If you feel like the vetted ideas aren’t good enough or you have a better idea for a nation please let me know in the comments, I might fix it or I might not idk lol.

question of balance, idk im brainrotted from my eu4 3x mod and im not a game designer. i’d like to think i did ok but some ideas might look ridiculous but idk you have to let me know. also some specific unique modifiers might have slipped by the filter, only should effect the generic nations either way.
