Description:

In vanilla kobolds are a pretty awful faction, but I like them. So, I have made a lot of effort to make them more interesting and competitive. Those efforts have been contained within my bigger project MuhBalance, and I wanted to port those to the regular game here. There are aspects of this mod that are from Total Overhall, but those are mostly simple things like ‘dig a mine’ and ‘summon drakes,’ most of the fun stuff is my work.

There are 3 late game options to choose from, in practice the first two are exclusive from each other due to cost, but the third can be mixed in to some degree.
Building a dragon spawn training ground will allow you to upgrade kobolds into dragon spawn en-mass for a cheap price.
Elder dragons can be tamed into a controllable version for a god-tier unit.
Kobolds can be sacrificed to summon drakes.
I have made some effort to try and balance the numbers for a vanilla environment, but I am out of touch with that side of the game, so if you think anything needs to be adjusted let me know.

List of Changes:
All Kobolds have mountain move.
Mastery costs are reduced.
Kobold kings are available as recruits.
Costs to create strongholds and hatcheries are reduced, and a discounted version is available when hatcheries and lairs are spread apart.
Kobolds can dig mineshafts for the cost of kobolds and gold.
Can also dig gems for kobolds, to help facilitate levels and late game costs.
There are rituals that upgrade kobolds into dragon spawn versions, there is a basic version at level two, and an improved version available after building an expensive bit of infrastructure at level 3.
There are three new dragon spawn units to fill out the roster, a fire and ice ranged dragon spawn and a melee shock dragon spawn.
Dragons can be tamed into a controllable unit at level three
Black chiefs increase the chance for black shamans
Foretelling is free
Wyvern knights and stone drakes have a secondary recruitment offer costing more kobolds but less other resources.
Black kobolds have poisoned javelins.
