Iron Orcs
Though often dismissed as a myth, the Iron Orcs still roam the Irrana Mountains – a forgotten menace from a darker age the Bretonnians would have preferred to remain buried in forgotten tales.
Iron Orcs are larger, faster, and more heavily armoured than even the dreaded Black Orcs. Yet, savage and dim-witted, they lack the cunning of their kin. They survive the only way they know how – by raiding, pillaging and slaughtering anything that crosses their path!
The lore of the Iron Orcs is very sparse and my mod is based on rather ‘what could be’ – a tiny bit of background can be found in the Warhammer Wiki[warhammerfantasy.fandom.com] / Lexicanum[whfb.lexicanum.com].
I’ve started this mod a long time ago, putting countless hours into it and hope you will enjoy it. Also, constructive feedback regarding potential bugs or balancing is welcomed!

- custom faction with a new legendary lord, custom buildings and mechanics (available for IE, IEE and The Old World Campaign; replacing the vanilla faction of the ‘Broken Nose’)
- 1 new generic lord type
- 11 new units
- a unique landmark for all other Greenskin factions to gain access to the Iron Orc units (IE/IEE: ‘Karak Izor’; The Old World Campaign: ‘Karak Bhufdar’)


The Iron Orcs are designed for experienced players and are a battle-focused faction, bringing exceptionally strong troops to the battlefield but suffering from a horrible economy. They need to wage constant war and wreak havoc around them. When the land lies in ruins, they thrive.
- Iron Orcs: Even the lowest Iron Orcs tower above their common Greenskin brethren, featuring exceptional strength and resilience. Yet, they are very low in numbers and suffer from low morale.
- Feats of Iron: Iron Orc Warbosses are Greenskins of legendary size and strength. Shear impossible to overcome, they all try to prove themselves to the Green Gods by fulfilling different deeds of battle.
- Iron Orc Dominion:: Should Iron Orcs gain a major foothold in a region and establish a fortress, the land and all of civilisation around it will wither, rendering it uninhabitable for all.
- Rites: As a very old and primal Greenskin race, the Iron Orcs can perform rites to gain the blessings of Gork and Mork.

There should be no compatibility issues.
My mod is compatible with Variant Selector, Tabletop Caps: Reborn and The Old World Campaign.
