Islamic Brotherhood Of Michigan (IBOM) is an organization bulit as a resistance to western imperialism and promote Islam through social reform and political activism within the state of Michigan. IBOM is also a subgroup of the main organization "Islamic Brotherhood" that is global organization that has spead out into western nations such as Canada, UK, and US but is been banned and designated as a terrorist organization in Russia, Egypt, and United Arab Emirates.
In recent events of late 2025, the Trump administration took actions by creating an executive order that designates the IBOM as an terrorist organization. This a part of a campaign from President Trump to get rid of foreign groups who are infiltrating the US for their own interest, which also includes illegal immigrants from US and Mexico border guarded by US Marines. As a response, the governor of Michgan was called by the mayor of Dearborn to call for protection to utilize the National Guard to prevent federal agencies such as ICE to arrest or deport citizens within the state of Michigan.
This has launched a large scale protest and violence in Dearborn between christian and muslim groups engaging in fights that has escalated to a use of firearms killing to about 24 people. For the IBOM, they have started by arming their members to respond against the US Government and anti-islam groups, this forced the IBOM to be a militia. With the ongoing conflicts that involved many religous and political groups such as the MAGA Federation, Antifa, and IBOM, the state of Michigan has started to become an active warzone leaving them in a state of distress.
