[FS-20 Vortex] BMDF CFV-19 Starstreak (Vanilla+)
Carrier Fighter Squadron 19 (CFV-19) “Starstreak” is one of the oldest squadrons in the Boscali Maritime Defense Force, with its origins in naval dive bombing at the turn of the 20th century. Now operating the FS-20 Vortex from the BNS Annex — a controversial decision by the BMDF intended to free up Marine aviation resources — Starstreak is tasked with defending the carrier group from aerial and maritime threats. Despite the shift toward stealth and precision warfare, the squadron still prides itself on conducting steep dive attacks from 40,000 feet, using the Vortex’s unmatched stealth to close with hostile surface combatants. This tactic traces its roots to a desperate engagement aboard the squadron’s former ship, the BNS Aurora Skies, when its guided munitions magazine was exhausted and only unguided GPO‑500 bombs remained. Though the Aurora Skies was ultimately lost, Starstreak aircraft sank two PALAN destroyers and one corvette in the engagement, buying critical time for the ship’s evacuation.
This livery is part of the "Vanilla +" lineup, featuring a remastered design with accurate maintenance stencils and markings, staying true to the game’s base lore.
