Description:

T’was meant to be a part of a mod project set in uhh… 1916 if technology is 20 years late – aside from cars, that’s 10 years. It’ll probably be canned in 3 weeks at best. Either way, it’s called Ravenfield: Century Prior for those interested.

Despite the title, thumbnail, name, and preview simply being %!@!-posts, this is a proper weapon mod, alhough it doesn’t turn out as good as I had hoped for, model-wise.

"How come do these &$ @$! back in HQ decided to, ‘oh yes we should give our supply of 150 year old rifles to our troops’… Are they stupid???" – A disgruntled soldier, presumably Eagle.

Stats-wise:
– Deals 120 HP of damage. Why? Big bullet (it’s not smokeless, but whatever).
– 1 shot, 24 rounds in reserve (excluding the first round).
– 450 m/s, roughly 6 seconds of lifetime.
– 400 "Dropoff End". In comparison, SL-Defender has 500 "Dropoff End" (what’s this btw?)
– Roughly 4 seconds of reload time.

– The scoped rifle zooms in to 10° FOV.
– Less spread so the scope actually does something other than just zooming in.
– The scope is offset to the left (making way for the breech).

– The model itself is not the most accurate to the real gun;
> Noticable differences in breech block, nose cap and a lack of a front barrel band.

Credits:
– TastyTony for their "Springfield Model M1873", as I used some of the gun’s parts for this rifle.
– Johann Ravenfield (SteelRaven) for some weapon assets (I only remember the scope reticle)
– SudoName and Mellamo for their respective weapon guides.
– SudoName and the rest of the Ravenfield community for guiding me through Discord.
– A friend of mine for testing.

Year of the Horse. Happy Birthday, Jacob Snider.
