Description:

Intelligent automation of your estates taxes. Tax rate will be as high as possible while still allowing satisfaction to recover at max recovery up to a configurable target satisfaction percent.

Patch 1.2 added a setting for target satisfaction equilibrium when automation is enabled but it doesn’t micro the tax rate. Smart Taxes has been updated to use the new setting but still micro the tax level.

In the balance tab of the economy panel you can enable/disable Smart Taxes for each estate by clicking the vanilla tax automation button which will now enable/disable Smart Taxes for the estate.

Built-in automation will be automatically disabled to prevent interference.

Now compatible with the Research Spending Mechanic mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3619537967. Load SmartTaxes after the Research Spending Mechanic mod.

As for other mods, this one changes gui/economy_lateralview.gui and should be compatible with any mods that don’t change that file.
