Unhooded Shrew Unique Background
Back when I first released my Repeat Courtyard Bosses mod, I had added Seal‘s Unhooded Shrew Miniboss as one of the optional boss fights, because it felt annoying having to find the Hooded Shrew curio whenever I wanted to fight him. I also had a custom background made for him by my good friend Loaf, since all the other bosses had one and it felt wrong for the Unhooded Shrew to be left out.
For the sake of simplicity I decided to remove the Unhooded Shrew from my Repeat Courtyard Bosses mod, meaning that the little background I had made for him was shelved for a while. That didn’t sit right with me, and so I’ve decided to bring it back as a little add-on mod for Slightly Startled Seal’s Unhooded Shrew Miniboss.
This mod changes the background of the Unhooded Shrew fight to a more crystaline rendition of the courtyard, as though the Shrew’s addiction is tearing apart the very fabric of reality itself. Naturally, this mod requires the Unhooded Shrew Miniboss mod to work, and should be placed above it in the load order.
