(1.7.1 updated) Imperial Favor NERFED
First of all, this mechanic is cool but stupid. Why would a puppet emperor has so much power?
Second of all, It should’ve been Dong Zhou’s favor, Cao Cao’s favor, or who ever is controlling the emperor’s favor. Or Liu Hong’s favor in 184 campaign would make total sense.
Third of all, this mechanic ruins game play. Everyone’s favor is almost always too high so everyone gets diplomatic bonus, that makes everyone love everyone and they stop going to war with each other. It’s TOTAL PEACE. It’s like I’m playing some kind of city building game, not a TOTAL WAR game.
So here is the nerf.
– ALL passive positive effects except some small character satisfaction bonuses are removed. (random positive events remain)
– Holding the puppet emperor increases imperial favor.
– Intimidation decreases imperial favor.
– High character satisfaction increases imperial favor.
– Low character satisfaction decreases imperial favor.
– Imperial favor lost from battles re-calculated.
