doubt.dm – MA Trante
"Very few travelers have written of Trante, obscured as it is by a pall of supernatural fog, and ringed by lighthouses which lead visiting ships away towards open seas. Within these defenses, the Kingdom of Doubt is, peculiarly, a league of cities scattered across the forgotten archipelago of Trantis. Most of the league’s population are natives, descendants of the corsairs of antiquity, but the urban and priestly classes are partial descendants of Velsci and Ermorians who survived the catastrophic eruption of Mons Soracte. The Kingdom is led by the Perfectes: kings in nothing but name, who probe the secrets of existence while wandering the Endless Baths of Trante. The league is perpetually bedeviled by misfortune and anomie, made all the worse by its proximity to the firey manes of Soracte and the ashen legions of Ermor. The common folk are assured that this is nothing but a test and an illusion, and that soon the divine truth will be made plain to all the world. With the coming of the Awakening God, the people of the archipelago are shocked to find themselves almost believing it."

My second Dominions mod, made in a state of depression in February and March of 2024. It is a Glamour/Water/Astral nation with a strong focus on human troops and patient play. This one is a bit more out there than Velscia, both in terms of design and theming, but hopefully it doesn’t clash too horrendously with vanilla.
Some sprites will be replaced over time when I find the motivation, and I still have several rituals to add to the nation. This one was rough to get out the door, so I will probably take a break before I start work on the sequel, ambition.dm.
